With over 25 years of experience in internal audit, I bring a wealth of expertise across a diverse range of industries, including government organisations, mining, healthcare, security, and financial services. Since 1997, I have worked with JSE and ASX-listed and non-listed entities, providing strategic insights and ensuring robust risk management and compliance frameworks across multiple sectors.
My professional journey has taken me across South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, where I have had the privilege of collaborating with key regulators such as the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and APRA. This international experience has strengthened my ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
Throughout my career, I have led and established internal audit -, risk -, and compliance departments, providing organisations with the tools and strategies needed to manage risks effectively and improve operational performance. My commitment to driving continuous improvement and delivering value has been a hallmark of my approach, helping businesses enhance governance and strengthen their internal controls.
I have been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors since 1998 and ISACA since 2015. I am passionate about helping organisations build resilient risk management frameworks that support their growth and long-term success.
